St James Church, Hope was built in 1861, in the English Gothic style of the 15th century. The overall dimensions of St James, Hope are; 132ft long, 75ft wide and 49ft at the apex of the nave. The bell tower and spire has a height of 160ft. There are some magnificent glass windows.
